The Missions 1937...

Welcome to a new and purpose built Bed and Breakfast one hour from Castle Hill in Sydney and two hours from the CBD in the area of Wiseman’s Ferry.

21s Century History....

Your hosts Primrose and Roy, constructed a dwelling for the 21st century that reflects the history of the property as well as their own interests and to conserve the views and aspect of the historic Chapel preserved by the local Historical Society. We wish not only to provide accommodation but to provide an experience which will be remembered.

Brand new purpose built Bed & Breakfast on the Hawkesbury River.

The 3km of river frontage features substantial guest accommodation with cinema/conference room, lounge with a focus wood fireplace, guest kitchen and four spacious guest suites with spectacular river views.

Why is the property called the missions 1937?

What it’s all about
The year 1937 seems particularly uneventful when looked back at some eighty five years in the future. Eighty years is the lifespan of a normal, slightly healthy, human being and as such this enterprise has as an objective to illustrate  the changes that have happened in one area of human endeavour during this time.

Our aeroplanes represent a cross section of civil aircraft during the “Golden Era” of flight of the 1920s to 1930s. The Aeroplanes were all flying in 1937 and thus the property is now known as “The Missions 1937”.

How To Get Here..

From the "Old Northern Road" and Sydney cross the Gosford Ferry at Wiseman's Ferry and drive exactly 8 Kilometers to the front gate.
