Following the success of last year’s Beauty and the Beast, Richmond Players is once again collaborating with Richmond High School to present the timeless musical, The Wizard of Oz.

The Wizard of Oz is the much loved family classic that follows Dorothy's magical journey over the rainbow, filled with heartfelt messages of tolerance and love that have won over audiences for years.

Filled with all the classics like 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road', If I Only had a Brain' and of course the unforgettable 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', the talented cast and crew - including students and staff of Richmond High School - have worked tirelessly to create an impressive production combining vivid sets and costumes, as well as a spectacular array of local talent.

Directed by Josie Dwyer, with musical direction by David Catterall, and choreography by Amber Hook, the creative team for The Wizard of Oz has about 40 years combined experience amongst them.

You can also meet all the characters you love after the show, including Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, Lion and Glinda the good witch of the North.

The Wizard of Oz will perform at Richmond High School for 8 shows only.
