The number of Australians with sight loss will hit a staggering half a million next year.[1] Globally, there are over 1.3 billion people living with some form of vision impairment, with over 80% of cases considered preventable.[2]

For the first time ever, personalEYES - the leading clinic for laser eye surgery and eye specialists, is holding a Health Carnival in Castle Hill on the 4th and 5th of July. In a time-poor society, with specialists often booked out well in advance and month-long waiting lists, the Heath Carnival is the perfect opportunity to put yourself and your health first.

With an offering of free eye screenings, dental consultations, hearing tests and general health checks, the Health Carnival is a great way for health-conscious individuals to take a holistic look at their health and have some fun along the way. It allows the health community to come together and look at the most innovative solutions to the nation’s growing health problems.

After starting her career in Ophthalmology in the late 1970’s, Dr Kerrie Meades has become one of the pioneers of laser cataract surgery. Established as one of Sydney’s most highly regarded Refractive and Cataract surgeons, Dr. Meades has published numerous papers on cataract, refractive surgery and general ophthalmology, and has presented on stages in both Australia and overseas.

Established in multiple locations around Australia, personalEYES also celebrates the launch of its oldest clinic in a new location in Castle Mall, Castle Hill. As the leading clinic for laser eye surgery and eye specialists, its team of distinguished and experienced surgeons offer the latest vison correction technologies and techniques. The personalEYES medical team pride themselves on taking the time to determine the best techniques and treatment plans to suit their patient’s personalised eye condition, health, and lifestyle. The Castle Hill medical team includes specialists such as:
