Community Fishing

When:
Every  Week on Tuesday until Tue 19 Dec 2017
Time:
9am - 5pm
Details:
Catch and release fishing program.

Supervised by NSW Department of Primary Industries Fish Care volunteers. Shore-based fishing, BYO equipment, including barbless hooks, BYO bait such as corn, bread or worms. Live bait is prohibited, Children under 16 years MUST be supervised by a parent or adult guardian, Current NSW Fisheries recreation fishing licence essential. NSW Fisheries recreation fishing licences can be purchased at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. Some exemptions apply.

There are currently nine species of freshwater fish in Penrith Lakes, including Australian bass, freshwater catfish and long finned eel.

The Community fishing program is held most Tuesdays from 9am to 5pm but is subject to change due to events and venue closures.
