Join fermentation revivalist Sammi Zajko, and owner of Fermenting Australia as she brings her popular class to DANGAR ISLAND, by popular demand, for an inspiring day of fermentation demonstrations and a very special day!

*** THIS CLASS IS A REALLY SPECIAL ONE! I AM TRAVELLING TO THE DANGAR ISLAND COMMUNITY TO SHARE THIS WORKSHOP WITH YOU. I HAVE OFFERED TO DO IT AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE ($99- NORMALLY $120pp). I WILL NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE IN MAKING THIS A SMOOTH AND EASY EVENT. :-)

Learn and become inspired in a fabulous, stunning setting. You will graze on some delicious ferments, fermented drinks, dips and more.

Sammi will share her wisdom of a culmination of over a decade of fermenting, a background in nutrition and natural health, and six years of facilitating fermentation workshops around NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD.

Learn the history, culture and science behind fermentation. Learn the incredible health benefits of this traditional craft.

Sammi will talk through and demonstrate:
-labne and whey
-sauerkraut (with variations)
-kimchi
-lacto-fermented pickles and variations
-kombucha
-vinegar
-milk kefir

Bring your fermenting questions, learn everything that you need to know to feel confident to create fermented foods for health and flavour at home.

This workshop would suit anyone from a complete beginner to confident fermenter with lots of inspiration and ideas.

- a ploughman's platter to share with the group
- tastes and samples of fermented foods and kombucha
