Going to high school is a challenging time for many young people, particularly those who have disabilities or have experienced major change in their family life.
This group strengthens the confidence of parents to support their teens in this new stage of life.
The group will cover:
•Transitioning skills from primary to high school
•Developmental tasks of adolescence
•Helping your child with peer friendships and confidence
•Addressing bullying and homework concerns
•Communicating effectively with school authorities
•Where to get extra help
