Historic Tarella Cottage Open Day

When:
Sun 30 Jun 2019
Time:
Open from 10am
Cost:
$5.00
Details:
On Sunday 30 June, 2019, the Blue Mountains Historical Society’s 19th century cottage museum, Tarella, at 99 Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls, opens for viewing at 10.00 am, closing at 3.00 pm, with last entry 2.45 pm.

Have you ever wondered what it was like to holiday in one of the guest houses or boarding houses that were so popular between the wars? There is a new exhibition in the Sun Room Gallery, which shows a bedroom from those days. Come and see what it was like.

The Florence Evelyn Moore Collection is still on display in various rooms throughout the cottage so you must not miss any of these items.

A fine day will ensure our ever-popular garden stall is open.

Devonshire teas and soup are available in the Research Centre Kitchen for a small charge.

Picnic in our spacious grounds – hot water freely available from our Kitchen in the Research Centre.

Entry charges to Tarella are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. Entry to the exhibition is free with entry to Tarella. Please note that we can only accept cash; we have no card facilities.
